The short answer

IPRoyal's strengths are flexibility: residential traffic that never expires, 7-day sticky sessions, 24-hour ISP and mobile rentals, a Web Unblocker and payment in 25 cryptocurrencies or PayPal. On residential price Loopway is well ahead — $1.10/GB at 10 GB against IPRoyal's $5.25/GB, and IPRoyal publishes nothing below its 10 GB rate until 10 TB — and Loopway adds a no-card free trial, ASN targeting, UDP and IPv6 proxies.

What you'll actually pay

What residential traffic costs on each

The same four orders priced on both. IPRoyal figures come from its own price list; ours from the rates checkout charges.

Each figure is the cheapest way to buy that much from the provider's own published price list: when a plan's minimum is larger than what you need, you pay for the whole plan, and a bigger plan wins whenever its lower rate makes up for it. Taxes excluded. The lowest cost in each row is blue.

About IPRoyal

IPRoyal, on the record

Facts from their own site and policies — no review-site hearsay. Each one is linked to its source.

What IPRoyal does well

7
  • Residential traffic never expires, whether bought pay as you go or by subscription.[2]
  • Residential sticky sessions last up to 7 days, with unlimited concurrent sessions.[22]
  • A low entry point: 1 GB of residential traffic, and ISP and dedicated mobile proxies rentable for 24 hours.[2]
  • Accepts 25 cryptocurrencies as well as cards, PayPal and Alipay.[15]
  • Sells a Web Unblocker, from $1.00 down to $0.70 per 1,000 requests.[18]
  • ISP and datacenter proxies support UDP and TCP connections.[23]
  • Publishes a 99.9% uptime guarantee across its services.[17]

Where IPRoyal is limited

6
  • No free trial for self-service customersA trial is offered only to eligible companies through Enterprise sales.[8]
  • Residential prices between 10 GB and 10 TB aren't published, and the lowest $1.75/GB rate needs 10 TB.[2]
  • Refunds only when the service is defective in the first 24 hours (72 hours for unused residential renewals)One-day plans are non-refundable.[17]
  • Payments made in cryptocurrency are never refundable.[24]
  • Identity verification is needed for unrestricted access, and to open ports beyond the approved defaults on residential and rotating mobile.[25]
  • ISP and datacenter orders include a traffic allowance under a fair-usage policy rather than unmetered traffic.[25]
Which one fits

An honest verdict

Choose IPRoyal if…

5
  • You need sticky residential sessions longer than a day — IPRoyal holds the same IP for up to 7 days.
  • You need a Web Unblocker or a video scraper API alongside proxies; Loopway sells neither.
  • You want to pay with PayPal, Alipay or one of 25 cryptocurrencies.
  • You want ISP or dedicated mobile proxies for a single day: IPRoyal rents them for 24 hours.
  • You want UDP on static ISP or datacenter IPs, which IPRoyal supports.

Choose Loopway if…

4
  • You want lower residential prices at the volumes IPRoyal publishes — $1.10/GB at 10 GB against $5.25/GB — and a published rate that keeps falling ($0.57/GB at 1 TB) instead of a custom quote.
  • You want to test before paying: we give up to 1.75 GB of residential traffic free with no card; IPRoyal's trial is for eligible companies via sales only.
  • You need ASN targeting or UDP on residential, or IPv6 proxies — IPRoyal leases IPv6 subnets but doesn't sell IPv6 proxies.
  • You'd rather not verify your identity up front: we ask for KYC only when a risk check calls for it, where IPRoyal ties unrestricted access to verification.

FAQ

IPRoyal alternative: questions

For residential proxies, yes, from the first gigabyte. As of October 2026 IPRoyal charges $5.25/GB at 10 GB (subscription) and publishes no lower rate until its $1.75/GB custom plan at 10 TB. Loopway is $1.10/GB at 10 GB and $0.57/GB at 1 TB, pay as you go. Both keep unused traffic forever.

Not for self-service customers. IPRoyal offers a trial to eligible companies through its Enterprise sales team. Loopway gives up to 1.75 GB of residential traffic free, with no card.

Generally no: fees are non-refundable except when the service is inactive or defective in the first 24 hours because of IPRoyal and can't be fixed, or for residential subscription renewals within 72 hours if no new data was used. One-day plans and crypto payments are never refunded.

IPRoyal runs checks at registration and says identity verification gives unrestricted access to all its services; opening extra ports on residential and rotating mobile proxies requires it. Loopway asks for KYC only when a risk check calls for it.

IPRoyal's terms of service name IPRoyal Services FZE LLC, a company incorporated in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. IPRoyal says it started in 2020.

Create an account, claim the free trial and swap the gateway host, port and credentials in your tool. Country, city and session settings go in the username string the same way, so most scrapers and bots need no code changes.
