# Privacy Policy

What personal data Loopway collects, why, who processes it for us, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

## 1\. Who is responsible

Loopway is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us about privacy at privacy@loopway.io.

## 2\. What we collect

-   **Account data** — email address, password hash or Google sign-in identifier, account settings.
-   **Billing data** — what you bought, invoices, balance movements. Card and PayPal details are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.
-   **Security data** — IP address and device signals at sign-up and login, used to stop fraud and abuse; verification results where KYC applies.
-   **Usage data** — bandwidth and request counts per plan, generated credentials, and connection metadata needed to operate, bill and protect the network.
-   **Support data** — messages you send us by chat or email.
-   **Website analytics** — pages visited and referral source, if you accept analytics.

We do not record the content of the pages you request through our proxies.

## 3\. Why we use it (legal bases)

-   To provide the Services you buy — **contract**.
-   To bill you, keep accounting records and meet tax and anti-money-laundering duties — **legal obligation**.
-   To prevent fraud, abuse and attacks on the network, and to enforce our Acceptable Use Policy — **legitimate interests**.
-   To send service and billing emails — **contract**; product news only with your **consent**, which you can withdraw in Settings.
-   Website analytics — **consent**, where required.

## 4\. Who processes data for us

We share data only with providers that help us run Loopway, under contracts that limit their use of it:

-   Hosting and database: Vercel, Supabase.
-   Payments: Freemius, Inc. (cards, PayPal), OxaPay (cryptocurrency).
-   Email delivery: Resend.
-   Fraud and abuse prevention: IPQualityScore, UserCheck, Cloudflare Turnstile; an identity-verification provider where KYC applies.
-   Proxy infrastructure suppliers: only the technical data needed to route and account for your traffic.
-   Analytics (if enabled): PostHog, DataFast.

We disclose data to authorities only when legally required, and we review every request. Some providers are outside your country; transfers use standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

## 5\. How long we keep it

-   Account data: while your account is open, and up to 30 days after closure.
-   Billing and invoice records: as long as tax law requires (usually 6–10 years).
-   Usage and connection metadata: up to 90 days, unless needed longer to investigate abuse.
-   Security and fraud signals: up to 2 years.

## 6\. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and US state laws such as the CCPA), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Email privacy@loopway.io; we reply within one month. We do not sell personal data. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

## 7\. Security, cookies and changes

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to staff who need it, and passwords are hashed. We use essential cookies for login and security, and analytics cookies only where allowed.
